Continuous Lines Welder - 1st shift

About the role

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Continuous Line Welder on 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Identifies correct short time overload procedure by analyzing pertinent information on the production ticket and traveler
• Operates Short Time Overload machine according to proper DES
• Records information as required on the production traveler and enters information into prod-info computer
• Checks production traveler to make sure previous steps have been done, and proper documentation has been filled out before sending on to the next operation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations
• Prior production experience is desirable
