About the role

The Business Systems Analyst at L3Harris ForceX serves as an Agile Product Owner and liaison between stakeholders and the development team. The BSA is responsible for setting the vision for the product, prioritizing and accepting work generated by the team, and communicating stakeholder requirements and feature requests to the software development team. The BSA works closely with Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, and software engineering teams to break stakeholder requirements into product backlog items as part of the Agile software development lifecycle.

The BSA partners directly with Program Managers to track software delivery and other deliverables, ensuring scope and schedule are met by creating and maintaining a Release Plan. ForceX BSAs interface directly with stakeholders and vendors, troubleshoot issues, and work with Systems Engineering to integrate new hardware and support functionality of existing hardware.

This role is contingent upon program award and requires up to 10% travel. The selected candidate must maintain eligibility to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision, roadmap, and backlog priorities; translate customer requirements into epics and user stories.
  • Coordinate directly with customers, systems engineering, architecture, and software teams to drive feature delivery and defect resolution.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning inputs, story acceptance, and demo/review preparation.
  • Support integration and test events, including travel to customer sites or test ranges.
  • Interface directly with stakeholders and vendors to gather and communicate requirements.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.
  • Track development team progress to ensure customer deliverables are met on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business field with 4+ years relevant experience, or 8+ years equivalent experience in analyst/engineering/DoD integration environments.
  • 4+ years relevant experience with Agile/Scrum development and strong ability to manage release commitments and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and support customer-facing technical/program activities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of systems engineering, integration/test workflows, and release governance.
  • Familiarity with tactical data links, DoD voice/data radios, and EO/IR sensor integration contexts.

Schedule

9/80 schedule — off every other Friday.
