Technology Business Systems Consultant 3 - Contingent

W2 candidates only. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina. 12‑month contract (possibility of extension).

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems.
• Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are cost‑effective and meet business requirements.
• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges to resolve complex problems.
• Partner with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions.
• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re‑engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues.
• Manage project schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3+ years of SQL programming experience, specifically with Teradata.
• Strong business technology analysis experience in developing technical requirements.
• Experience working with JIRA to create stories, features, and epics.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.

Desired Skills

• Corporate Risk experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including the USA PATRIOT Act and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint site design and administration functions.
• Strong project management and product ownership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Understanding of the banking industry and products (DDA, brokerage, ACH, wires, etc.).
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
• Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and prioritizing skills.
• Certified Anti‑Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification is a plus.

Pay

$43.00 – $48.00 per hour on W2. The specific compensation will be determined by factors such as scope, complexity, location, market labor costs, candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions.
