Content Operations Specialist
About the role
Tebra is looking for a Content Operations Specialist to own the systems, workflows, and quality control that keep our content engine running. This role is responsible for publishing content to our website, ensuring accuracy and consistency, implementing light SEO requirements, and tracking content from assignment through launch and updates.
Responsibilities
- Upload, format, and publish content in the CMS.
- Apply templates, page modules, CTAs, images, embeds, and structured components.
- Ensure every asset is properly tagged, categorized, and published on time in CMS.
- Execute pre- and post-publish QA checklists, and review content for: formatting and layout issues; broken links and missing assets; incorrect CTAs or metadata; brand compliance requirements.
- Ensure structured formatting inputs are present before publish, including: Structured headers and sections; FAQs/PAA style blocks; Citations and source attribution, when necessary.
- Ensure content follows LLM extractable formatting patterns.
- Implement SEO inputs provided by the team, including: title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, internal links, image alt text.
- Build, format, QA, and schedule newsletters.
- Maintain a reliable weekly send cadence.
- Track assignments to freelance writers/editors, track deliverables and deadlines, and maintain production schedules in Asana (or similar tool).
- Maintain a clear source of truth for content published and continuously improve editorial documentation.
- Flag workflow issues and propose workflow improvements when timelines or dependencies slip.
- Cook up with Creative and Web teams for design and CTA placements.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in content operations, development, and execution in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, creative writing, journalism, marketing, or a related field of study.
- Strong project management and editorial coordination skills.
- Genuine interest in healthcare and the challenges that face independent practices.
- Experience in workflow and CMS tools (Asana, Wordpress, or similar).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Bonus! Understanding of the healthcare industry and challenges of independent practices and medical billers.
