Responsibilities
- Review user-generated text, images, and video for policy violations
- Apply community guidelines and content policies consistently
- Take appropriate action on content that violates platform rules
- Escalate sensitive, harmful, or high-risk cases to senior teams
- Document moderation decisions and maintain accurate records
- Identify emerging trends, patterns, and abuse tactics
- Provide real-world feedback that supports policy updates
- Maintain quality and accuracy targets across large volumes of content
- Collaborate with trust and safety, legal, and support teams
- Protect user privacy and handle confidential information responsibly
- Maintain productivity and response-time goals
- Perform additional moderation tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in moderation, customer service, operations, or related roles
- Strong reading comprehension and sound judgment
- Able to stay objective when reviewing sensitive material
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Comfortable using content review tools and dashboards
- Strong written communication skills
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
