About the role

The Content Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in accelerating Crux's content program for tax credit buyers and institutional investors, further establishing Crux as the dominant thought leader in clean energy capital markets while driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth and enabling the commercial teams that serve these audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Crux’s capital solutions teams to develop deep audience expertise and guide the content strategy for capital providers (e.g., corporate finance teams, financial institutions, private credit funds, tax advisors).
  • Create compelling content across formats such as case studies, newsletters, blog posts, sales one-pagers, infographics, whitepapers, and videos, tailored to an audience of capital providers.
  • Execute content strategies that boost SEO and AEO performance and drive desired actions across sales and partnerships channels.
  • Develop sales enablement materials that help commercial teams engage and convert sophisticated finance and investment audiences.
  • Actively experiment with AI tools across content workflows and contribute to the team’s shared learning about AI utilization.
  • Help shape a long-term content calendar aligned with business goals while managing shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with design teams to produce videos, infographics, and other multimedia assets for distribution across channels.
  • Ensure consistency with key messaging and brand guidelines across all content types, maintaining Crux’s high standard of quality.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in content, communications, and/or marketing in corporate finance, fintech, or clean energy project finance.
  • Fluency in the language of institutional finance: tax credits, tax equity, structured debt, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional writing skills to make complex financial and technical topics accessible and engaging across a wide range of formats, from executive thought leadership to SEO blog posts to sales collateral.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and a track record of experimenting with tools to improve your work.
  • Strong organizational skills to execute content effectively while managing competing priorities.
  • An eye for detail and strong instincts around written and visual communication.
  • A collaborative mindset with comfort working autonomously across cross-functional teams.
  • Excitement about accelerating the clean economy.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
