Responsibilities

  • Own Ripton's content calendar, aligning content with product launches, campaigns, events, retail moments, and athlete storytelling.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to identify stories, shape campaigns, and bring fresh ideas to every project.
  • Help shape Ripton's content strategy, building thoughtful plans while staying flexible enough to capitalize on unexpected opportunities.
  • Plan and produce photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery.
  • Develop creative briefs, shot lists, production schedules, and coordinate shoot logistics.
  • Partner with photographers, creators, athletes, freelancers, and internal teammates to produce content that stands out.
  • Capture content yourself using a camera or phone when needed – keep the bar high but move fast.
  • Own Ripton's organic social presence across Instagram and emerging platforms.
  • Publish content, write copy, and manage day-to-day channel performance.
  • Build relationships with customers, athletes, creators, and the broader Ripton community.
  • Identify and elevate great content from customers, athletes, and creators.
  • Monitor performance and use insights to improve future content.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, creative production, or a similar role.
  • Experience planning and producing photo and video content.
  • Excellent creative taste and storytelling instincts.
  • Strong writing skills and an intuitive understanding of brand voice.
  • Comfortable working with photographers, creators, athletes, and freelancers.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and internet trends.
  • Organized enough to build systems, but adaptable enough to move quickly when priorities change.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and excited to roll up your sleeves and figure things out.
