Our Content Marketing team at Wpromote is looking to add a Content Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and optimize content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes across organic search, AI-powered search experiences, and integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you’ll partner with clients to create high-quality content that builds brand authority, increases discoverability, and supports key business objectives. You’ll collaborate across SEO, Paid Media, Social, Digital PR, Creative, and Analytics to develop data-driven content strategies and leverage modern content workflows to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, direction, and delivery of performance-driven creative across a book of business ranging from 2-5 clients, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and channel objectives.
  • Translate performance data into clear creative direction, including testing roadmaps, hypotheses, and iteration plans.
  • Develop recurring static and video briefs grounded in platform best practices and performance insights, including performance-driven messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy tailored to platform behavior, audience insights, and campaign objectives.
  • Partner closely with Media teams to align on testing strategy, scaling opportunities, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with Design and Production to bring concepts to life, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Analyze creative performance across platforms and synthesize learnings into actionable insights and next steps.
  • Apply a strong understanding of platform dynamics (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Programmatic) to inform creative strategy.
  • Support client communication by presenting creative concepts, performance insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of creative testing frameworks, best practices, and ways of working across accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve creative efficiency through tools, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Travel occasionally to visit clients, team meetings, and/or events (likely 1-3 times/year).

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Content Marketing, SEO Content, Editorial Strategy, or a related agency or in-house marketing role.
  • Experience developing content strategies that drive measurable performance across organic search, engagement, or business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and an interest in how AI-powered search is evolving content discovery.
  • Experience creating and managing a variety of content formats, including website content, blogs, thought leadership, and other digital marketing assets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Experience using marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Adobe Analytics, Asana, and AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.

Pay

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 – $80,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits.

This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions. While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person.
