Smart City Apartment Locating is seeking a Content Creation Specialist to capture high-quality content and manage social media strategies that boost brand awareness and lead generation for multifamily real estate clients.
About the Role
- Capture high-quality content (professional photography, iPhone video clips, drone footage, and more) at various client properties.
- Ensure compliance with drone regulations.
- Manage all asset capture and upload to the company drive.
- Communicate property and photoshoot status to the team, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee editing to ensure high-quality photos and videos.
- Create content calendars for clients as assigned.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Brainstorm new content ideas with the creative team.
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in content creation and social media marketing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field (required/preferred).
- 2+ years of marketing or sales experience.
- Experience running large social media accounts and/or omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Experience with new trending social media content.
- Experience in short-form copywriting for social media captions and display advertising.
- Experience filming short-form content and photography.
- Experience with drone filming and professional photography (ideal).
Skills
- Proficiency with CapCut or other video editing software.
- Experience with photography editing software.
- Familiarity with ClickUp.
- Videography and professional photography skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets (preferred).
- Experience using a CRM platform (preferred).
- Understanding of Mac OSX and iPhone iOS for business.
- Effective leadership and coaching skills.
- Empathy-driven mindset with a desire to surprise and delight clients.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management, project coordination, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to handle feedback.

- Comfortable with data entry and cold calling.
Physical Requirements
- Based in Houston, Phoenix, or Nashville, with the ability to frequently travel nationwide to film content for clients.
- Primarily remote with occasional office visits.
- Must adhere to safety regulations and compliance measures (e.g., OSHA, CDC).
- Must report hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
Schedule
- Typical business hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.
- Availability for escalations may be needed outside of normal business hours.
- Travel up to 60% of the time.
- Minimal travel may be required for business functions, team training, and cultural events.
Pay
Salary for this role is $50,000.
Eligibility for bonuses, dependent on role/department.
