About the role
A UX designer ensures a product makes sense to the user by creating a path that logically flows from one step to the next. A UI designer ensures each page visually communicates that path. A UI, UX, and front-end web developer is responsible for applying interactive & visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience. These developers use HTML, CSS, and other design tools to achieve responsive designs.
Responsibilities
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Creating user stories, personas, and storyboards.
- Determining information architecture and creating sitemaps.
- Creating prototypes and wireframes.
- Conducting usability testing.
