About The Role
The Marketing Content Writer at EPIC Insurance plays a pivotal role in modernizing and scaling the company's internal and external communication efforts. This position requires exceptional copywriting skills to craft compelling messaging that aligns with the brand strategy and supports business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality content across multiple formats, including internal announcements, marketing collateral, web copy, social media posts, thought leadership articles, and scripts. They will develop scalable content workflows, templates, and modular messaging components grounded in strong copywriting principles to ensure efficiency and consistency. Additionally, the role involves maintaining content governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to voice, tone, accuracy, and regulatory standards. The Content Writer will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Communications, Marketing, Sales, and subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content, thereby strengthening EPIC's brand presence and supporting strategic initiatives. Leveraging AI tools and automated workflows, the role aims to accelerate content production while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain EPIC's Content Engine by creating compelling content across various formats and channels
- Design and implement templates, prompt libraries, and modular messaging components to streamline content creation
- Develop scalable content workflows that enhance efficiency, quality, and brand consistency
- Maintain content governance frameworks to uphold voice, tone, accuracy, and compliance standards
- Write and refine copy standards, messaging guidelines, and narrative frameworks for internal teams and AI tools
- Conduct content reviews and provide editorial guidance to ensure clarity, consistency, and high standards at scale
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Communications, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content
- Provide strategic copywriting support for executive communications, high-visibility initiatives, and flagship projects
- Leverage AI and other technological tools to improve content speed, quality, and performance
- Train and support teams in utilizing structured content systems and automated workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in editorial, content strategy, or communications roles
- Proven expertise in copywriting with a strong command of tone, clarity, and narrative structure
- Hands-on experience with AI content tools, automated workflows, and structured content systems
- Strong understanding of content governance, brand voice, and regulatory standards
- Excellent editorial skills with attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with subject matter experts
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare (preferred)
- Leadership experience in editorial or internal/external communications (preferred)
