About the role

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, social media management, and digital storytelling. You’ll be responsible for planning, producing, and managing content across our social platforms, helping grow our brand presence while educating real estate professionals about our technology and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage a consistent content calendar across social media platforms.
  • Develop content strategies that align with marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Cook up content ideas and coordinate with internal teams to turn them into engaging posts, clips, and videos.
  • Manage and grow MyStateMLS social channels including: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube.
  • Monitor engagement, comments, and messages while helping maintain an active community.
  • Track performance metrics and adjust content strategy based on analytics.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing to promote: product updates, industry education, agent success stories, events and webinars.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging remains consistent with the MyStateMLS brand and voice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of social media growth strategies and content trends.
  • Experience creating short-form video content for social media.
  • Ability to manage content calendars and multi-platform campaigns.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable filming content and occasionally appearing on camera.

Skills

  • Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite / Premiere / After Effects, Canva, CapCut or similar short-form editing tools, social media scheduling platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing fundamentals.
  • Basic photography and videography skills.

Bonus

  • Experience in real estate, proptech, or SaaS.
  • Experience managing B2B social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with educational or product marketing content.
