About the role
Responsible for leading software development projects from conception through deployment. Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality assurance. Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains high-quality software applications
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives
- Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Conducts code reviews and participates in peer code reviews
- Works closely with QA team to ensure software meets quality standards
- Participates in sprint planning and retrospectives
- Supports ongoing maintenance and updates of existing systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with API development and integration
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards
