About the role

We are seeking a creatively charged content creator and social media specialist to join our team. This role will take ownership in building our brands and consumer awareness. We are looking for a dynamic personality to contribute inspired ideas and creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Create brand awareness through websites, social media, and internal marketing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers of the brand’s consumer through data.
  • Create company newsletters, eblasts, and ads.
  • Manage social media postings and design (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Research and implement SEO & SEM.
  • Analyze and track website traffic, set goals to increase traffic.
  • Capture and edit creative photos and videos of products and business operations.
  • Present inspired concepts to the sales and management teams and collaborate on ideas effectively.
  • Work with the marketing and sales team to identify and leverage consumer insights and trends, specifically as they relate to category management and new product development driving sales growth.
  • Other tasks as assigned by ownership and management teams.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated—once projects are assigned, this position works with minimal to no supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiar with SEO.
  • Photography and videography skills a plus.
  • Able to use WordPress and other graphic arts programs.
  • Must have strong vocabulary and spelling skills.
  • Ability to write compelling and creative descriptions of products, services, company history, etc.
  • Present new ideas that will help grow the business and brands.
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Able to write and develop creative menu and meal plans, and procedure manuals.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, staff, and owners.

Additional Details

Full-time role with hours that may vary. This position works for two separate companies located approximately 5 miles apart. Travel between both businesses may be required to meet with department managers or for marketing work involving photo/video shoots or product design.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet.
  • Exposure to outdoor elements is possible daily. Must dress accordingly and be prepared for any type of weather.
