Responsibilities

  • Guide members through the consumer lending process, from application intake and needs assessment, to identifying appropriate cross sell opportunities based on member’s needs, and communication of loan decisions for auto, boat, RV, personal loans, and credit cards.
  • Engage with members in a responsive and caring way, following up on inquiries and applications with urgency.
  • Drive loan growth and member engagement through strategic outbound calling with existing members.
  • Manage a pipeline of loan applications with accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through.
  • Review consumer credit information to make sound lending decisions and identify opportunities that align with members’ financial goals.
  • Achieve individual loan production and ancillary product goals while contributing to overall team success.
  • Submit complete and accurate loan applications and gather required documentation to ensure efficient and compliant processing.
  • Work closely with processing teams and branch partners to provide a smooth, well-coordinated loan closing experience.
  • Clearly explain lending requirements, decisions, and next steps so members feel informed and confident throughout the process.
  • Address questions or concerns promptly to maintain a high level of member service.
  • Stay informed on lending regulations, internal policies, and fraud-prevention practices.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a changing environment and contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing team.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience working in a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of lending systems and origination processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Sales experience preferred, in any setting where you’ve influenced, persuaded, or guided others toward a decision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a financial institution.
  • 1+ years of experience originating and/or processing consumer loan applications.
  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish.
  • Strong understanding of consumer lending products.
  • Experience with titled collateral and related loan processes.
  • Experience utilizing Temenos platform for loan originations.

Compensation

Compensation is based on the candidate's geographical location, calculated using an adjustment factor from the Seattle-area market compensation. This is a commission-based role, and compensation is currently being reevaluated for market adjustments.
