Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage ongoing and ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative market research programs, including brand tracking, category tracking, consumer usage and attitude studies, concept testing, product testing, fieldwork, and ethnographies
- Lead the day-to-day execution of research projects, including survey design, discussion guide development, fieldwork coordination, data analysis, and synthesis
- Create and present clear, impactful reports and summaries for stakeholders
- Partner with Brand, Product, Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, Digital, and Trade teams to identify research needs and apply findings to business decisions
- Analyze multiple sources of consumer, market, and syndicated data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities and present findings through compelling storytelling
- Cook up and maintain collaborative relationships with research vendors and partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, research, psychology or related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in consumer insights or market research, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG) industry
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including focus groups, interviews, ethnographies, conjoint, MaxDiff, TURF, brand tracking, and shopper research
- Experience in utilizing and interpreting syndicated market data sources such as Circana (IRI), Numerator, and Quantilope
- A natural curiosity about human behavior and a passion for understanding the "why" behind consumer decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and survey programming platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
- Strong analytical, presentation, storytelling, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in marketing, business, research, psychology, or related field
- 7+ years experience in marketing, communications, business development, brand management, consulting, and/or analytics
