Retail Location – On-site, non-exempt position reporting to the Store Leader.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by delivering exceptional, engaging, efficient, and personalized retail experiences.
- Support the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader in executing consumer experience programs, visual merchandising, and visual standards to tell the Carhartt story at the store level.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment to support associate engagement and enable associates to bring their best to work each day.
- Assist with training, coaching, and providing feedback to associates to ensure their growth throughout their journey.
- Support timely and effective execution of store controls, operating standards, policy and procedure administration, profitability, and a safe work environment.
- Communicate operational data—including product mix, trends, needs, local competition, and events—to the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader.
- Support revenue-building strategies set by Corporate and the Store Leader, and monitor performance metrics to achieve or exceed store goals.
- Assist with external partnerships and event promotions for the benefit of the store.
- Support execution of community engagement events and engage with the local community to grow brand awareness.
- Assist the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader with recruiting and identifying potential talent for all positions.
- Take ownership of individual development and professional growth.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Experience in sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Knowledge of staffing, coaching, counseling, training, and development.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Typical retail store environment with extended periods of standing and computer use.
- Moderate lifting (30-40 lbs).
- Retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- National travel required (up to 5%).
- Tobacco-free workplace.
Pay
$20.40 - $24.00 per hour.
