Consumer Direct Mortgage Banker

About the role

The Federal Savings Bank is expanding its Consumer Direct team in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented call center/consumer direct mortgage bankers to work with bank-provided leads across our 50-state platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with bank-provided leads within our 50-state platform
• Manage time effectively due to the high volume of in-bound leads
• Take a disciplined approach to working leads
• Interact with individuals within all departments of the bank
• Manage loan origination process from start to finish
• Manage multiple loan products including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, Jumbo, 203k & Renovation, Portfolio, ITIN, Condos/Co-ops, Construction, HECM's, Multi-Family, Commercial, Personal Loans and more
• Work in a secure environment
• Participate in weekly National Sales Meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mortgage lending experience in a call center/consumer direct environment
• Active NMLS #
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and experienced in taking a disciplined approach to working leads
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of current loan originating guidelines/procedures
• Favorable credit and background check
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• VA and FHA lending experience strongly preferred

Salary

$36,000 Draw + Commission
