Consumer Direct Mortgage Banker

About the role

The Federal Savings Bank is expanding its Consumer Direct team in Saratoga, NY, seeking experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented call center/consumer direct mortgage bankers to work bank-provided leads within a 50-state platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with bank-provided leads to convert at a high percentage
• Access a wide scope of loan programs and competitive rates
• Cater to a diverse customer base including veteran homeowners, those seeking government refinancing assistance, and first-time home buyers
• Deliver loans in 30 days or less
• Offer a variety of loan products including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, Jumbo, 203k & Renovation, Portfolio, ITIN, Condos/Co-ops, Construction, HECM's, Multi-Family, Commercial, Personal Loans, and more
• Work in a secure environment with 100% in-house operations support
• Participate in weekly National Sales Meetings to stay updated on industry news

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mortgage lending experience in a call center/consumer direct environment
• Active NMLS #
• Ability to manage time effectively due to high volume of leads
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of current loan originating guidelines/procedures
• Favorable credit and background check
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• VA and FHA lending experience strongly preferred

Salary

$36,000 Draw + Commission
