Consumer and Real Estate Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Obtain and develop a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing the existing portfolio.
• Promote BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele.
• Participate in various community and public events.
• Consistently execute policies and procedures.
• Provide extraordinary customer service at all times.
• Conduct outside business development calls.
• Assist with other job-related duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred.
• Current working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
• Knowledge of loan processing/collection software required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications.
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework.
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required.
• Lending experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Constant use of computer screens.
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see, or hear.
• Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling, or crouching.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.
• Long periods of typing and repetitive motion.
• Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds.

Schedule

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
