About the role

Black & Veatch seeks a Consulting Manager to join our Infrastructure Advisory organization, focusing on asset investment planning for electric utilities. The role involves developing asset investment plans, conducting risk analyses, and delivering innovative solutions to address client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop asset investment plans using industry-leading tools and models to optimize capital investments through risk and benefit assessments, and value model development.
  • Optimize portfolios and conduct risk analyses to ensure efficient asset investments.
  • Monetize benefits and develop asset management plans, including ISO 55001 assessments and strategic asset management plans.
  • Manage asset management programs and implement them effectively.
  • Lead project teams, orchestrate tasks, coordinate resources, and manage schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise on asset management, applying best practices and detailed knowledge of electric T&D assets and utility operations and maintenance.
  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights, identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and develop solutions.
  • Support client meetings and workshops, develop presentations, and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Contribute to business development activities, develop scopes, schedules, and budgets.

Requirements

  • Masters degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer License
  • IAM Certificate in Asset Management
  • Consulting experience with electric utilities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment
  • Demonstrated experience in electric utility engineering, operations, and maintenance

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $125,555.00 - $208,845.00.
