Consulting Manager, Asset Investment Planning

About the role

Black & Veatch seeks a Consulting Manager, Asset Investment Planning to join our Infrastructure Advisory organization. The role focuses on developing asset investment plans for electric utilities using industry-leading tools and models.

Responsibilities

• Develop asset investment plans for gas and electric utilities
• Optimize capital investments through risk and benefit assessments, and value model development
• Deliver innovative solutions addressing client issues such as aging infrastructure, asset investments, data management, and organizational capabilities
• Manage technical work for projects including asset investment plan development, portfolio optimization, risk analysis, and benefit monetization
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations
• Support business development activities and scope/schedule/budget development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years experience in a business/consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience in electric utility engineering, operations, and maintenance

Qualifications

• Masters degree preferred
• Professional Engineer License preferred
• IAM Certificate in Asset Management preferred
• Consulting experience with electric utilities preferred
