Consultant, Inventory Management (Full-Time, Days)

Anticipated salary range: $84,400 - $120,400. Pay is determined by multiple factors including geographical location, relevant education, experience, skills, and internal pay equity.

About the Role

The Consultant, Inventory Management supports the Managers and Supervisors of the site’s discrepancies by conducting specialized analyses of warehouse operations. Serving as a subject matter expert and centralized resource for complex analyses, the Consultant uses inventory management technologies to optimize and analyze processes to inform operational improvements. This role contributes to the facility’s profitability and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Claims Queue for the facility, supporting the resolution of shipping discrepancies.
• Supports Manager and Supervisors with ad-hoc requests and process-level analyses to evaluate and improve warehouse operations.
• Creates automated processes to provide Supervisors and Managers with new data on a regular basis.
• Liaises with enterprise teams for Operational Excellence and other teams to evaluate operational improvements and deploy new technologies.
• Submits insurance claims against third-party vendors.
• Provides regular updates to the Manager and/or Supervisors and ensures internal alignment on long-term projects.
• Notifies Manager/Supervisor of discrepancies, providing analysis of the claim.
• Mentors and provides guidance to less-experienced Inventory Management Analysts and Senior Analysts, partnering with them to carry out complex projects.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
