Summary of Performance Expectations

Performs a variety of administrative support services for the Nutrition Care department. Orders, receives and supervises proper storage of supplies. Control cash receipts. Performs a variety of activities, relating to the safe and sanitary preparation of food, and the delivery of food trays to patients. Performs cleaning and organizing assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Orders, receives and supervises proper storage of supplies.
  • Controls cash receipts.
  • Prepares and delivers food trays to patients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in a Serve-Safe class within twelve months of employment date.
  • One year of food service and office management experience.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and food service.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Associate degree in Business or Dietary Management.
  • Advance knowledge of software applications (including Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, Word and Foodservice Direct Order or equivalent online program).

Skills

Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date. Preferred Healthcare experience.
