Responsibilities
- Ensure overall accuracy and efficiency of the organization’s medical supply inventory and inventory systems, including both perpetual and expensed-based inventories.
- Meet applicable regulatory requirements from entities such as the FDA, DOH, and Joint Commission and actively participate during surveys.
- Obtain monthly departmental expired supply documentation and audit supply areas throughout the hospital.
- Train staff on inventory functions within the MMIS system.
- Educate staff hospital-wide on the proper care and maintenance of supplies.
Schedule
Full Time / Day Shift, Monday-Friday
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree highly desired.
- Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
- Five years of experience in supply chain logistics required, with emphasis on inventory management preferred.
