Construction Technical Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Civil Construction Technical Manager with a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of successfully managing projects. This role involves both self-performing tasks and leading project teams, while also playing a key role in client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Review and ensure the adequacy of project budgets and schedules
- Conduct construction observations and adhere to project procedures
- Maintain a field book according to project procedures
- Prepare and submit Inspector’s Daily Reports and other project documentation as required
- Report on the progress of work, including addressing technical issues and noting any deficiencies
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, and submittals related to assigned work
- Provide design or professional assistance to project managers
- Maintain company-owned vehicles or other equipment used on the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- At least 20 years of experience in a construction role
- Prior experience working with cities, counties, or local municipalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- Collaborative approach to mentoring and building relationships
- Potential to support business development activities

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
Schedule
This position offers flexibility within the Front Range of Colorado, welcoming candidates from diverse areas including but not limited to Greeley, Fort Collins, Johnstown, and the Denver Metro area.
