About the role
Brentwood, TN-based Perimeter Security Partners is seeking a traveling Construction Superintendent/ Site Quality Control Manager to oversee the installation of various security infrastructure at access control points across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Perform periodic inspections and develop punch lists as needed.
- Ensure all site and client-specific training and site access requirements are met.
- Provide accurate and complete daily reports to the Project Manager.
- Deliver a weekly update to the 2-week look-ahead schedule to the Project Manager.
- Receive, inspect, and ensure proper storage of all project materials.
- Ensure the site is clean and safe at all times.
- Conduct monthly progress reviews with subcontractors and provide recommendations for monthly invoicing.
- Conduct project site walks with the customer each month to document progress and confirm monthly completion percentages.
- Implement and coordinate the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
- Conduct preparatory meetings, in-process inspections, and final inspections for all work.
- Direct activities of third-party inspectors and test laboratories on site.
- Coordinate inspection and oversight from the Government's Quality Assurance Representative.
- Implement and enforce the Site Specific Safety and Health Plan.
- Enforce compliance with all safety requirements and procedures.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and personnel safety.
- Conduct daily 'toolbox talks' and in-depth safety briefs.
- Collect and organize project documentation.
- Assist with pre-bid site visits, investigations, and meetings.
- Assist with routine communication with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as a construction supervisor/foreman, superintendent, or quality control manager.
- Minimum of five years of experience with excavation, reinforced concrete placement, and industrial fencing installation.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation details.
- Valid driver's license.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Pass background check and drug test.
- Expertise and knowledge in operating heavy equipment such as mini-excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, lifts, and ladders.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to waist level.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands, fingers, and arms effectively.

Additional Information
Recurring travel for 2-3 weeks at a time on new installation/construction projects throughout the US (90% travel). Employee will receive a company credit card for approved expenses (e.g., hotel, fuel, tools, and materials) and a fixed per diem for meals and incidental expenses. Hands-on and other training opportunities are available to augment skills and increase proficiency with physical security infrastructure equipment.
