Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Field engineering and layout
• Subcontractor coordination
• Scheduling and procurement of materials
• Manpower planning
• Field documentation and daily reporting
• Safety meetings and audits
• Toolbox talks
• Contract management
• RFI submission and logs
• Shop drawing review
• Cost-control management
• Pull-planning skills

Requirements

• Self-starter with a proactive management approach and excellent communication skills
• Collaborates effectively with project management staff, consultants, architects, and clients

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of field experience as a lead superintendent
• Educated in construction management (bachelor's degree preferred), related degree, or trade background
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, P6, and Plangrid/Autodesk (project management software)
• LEED AP accreditation
• Industry certifications in Safety and Trade skills
• Proficient in reading, comprehending, and interpreting construction documents (specifications, shop drawings, and project plans)
