About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and make cost-effective decisions to keep projects within financial constraints.
  • Manage project timelines, identifying and addressing potential delays, and implementing strategies to keep projects on schedule.
  • Foster effective communication between project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety on the construction site.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and as-built drawings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Driver's License Required.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
