About the role

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).

Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
  • Aid in pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
  • Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule
  • Administer safety program
  • Manage equipment lead times and order construction related items
  • Lead construction review meetings
  • Document progress weekly in field reports for the Owner
  • Aid in the commissioning effort
  • Register applicable equipment for warranties
  • Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out and submitted as required for warranties
  • Support Owner training – scheduling, coordination, etc.
  • Address project issues and help resolve warranty issues as needed
  • Develop O&M manuals and as-builts

Requirements

  • Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
