Construction Site Superintendent

About the role

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
• Auxiliary with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule
• Create project safety binder and review with subcontractors
• Administer safety program
• Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)
• Lead construction review meetings
• Document progress weekly for the Owner
• Auxiliary with the commissioning effort
• Register applicable equipment for warranties
• Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out, and submitted as required for warranties
• Coordinate Owner training
• Address project issues
• Resolve warranty issues as needed
• Develop O&M manuals and as-builts

Requirements

• Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications

• Proven track record in construction management
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule

Travel is required to job sites. The Construction Site Superintendent is on-site at all times during heavy construction. During other project periods, the Construction Site Superintendent may not have to be on the construction site every day, and may work at the office or possibly remotely to assist with other projects not in the heavy construction period.
