Construction Services Representative

About the role

Assist customers by collaborating with cross functional teammates to address the customers’ unique building requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service and production part orders based on customer requests.
• Receive customer calls and record issues into the database and initiate corrective action plans.
• Input sales information into various systems.
• Work directly with Engineering to determine errors and resolve field issues.
• Receive calls from building installers regarding job site part components or building drawings.
• Work directly with Regional Sales Managers and customers to get customer service issues properly defined and resolved.
• Respond to customer information requests collaborating with other departments for appropriate responses.
• Answer incoming phone calls and routing the caller to the appropriate person or department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in self-storage or building products and installation services. A functional knowledge of building plans is a plus. Must be computer proficient and able to multi-task. Should be organized and able to communicate professionally.

Education And Experience

The candidate we seek will have a degree in business or construction management. Candidates with knowledge of building systems, structural design, products and services are preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office products including CRM and Excel would be preferred. Having the capability to read and understand Engineering drawings is a plus. Some travel may be needed.
