Construction Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6 across multiple projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical paths
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessments
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clients
  • Identify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solving
  • Maintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planning
  • Support resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needs
  • Cook up schedule reviews and updates with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for construction or federal contracting operations
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
