Construction Safety Specialist

CentiMark Corporation is the nation’s largest commercial & industrial roofing contractor with 100 offices and 3,500 employees. This full-time position is based in Haskell, TX, open to varying levels of experience, and offers career growth based on performance.

About the role

Frequent travel (80% - 100% overnight) to various job and office locations throughout the assigned region to conduct:

• On-site safety inspections
• Employee training
• Claim investigations

Safety Specialists are part of the Operations & Risk Department and report directly to the Group Safety Manager. This role involves safety and risk management of multiple office locations and crews in the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits
• Deliver safety training to employees
• Investigate claims and incidents
• Manage safety and risk for multiple crews and locations

Requirements

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or 1-3 years of safety experience required
• OSHA 30 or authorized 10/30 hour trainer certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Fall Protection Competent Person certification
• Ability to pass a One Source/FCA background check
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Strong investigative, communication, and problem-solving skills

Pay

$85,000 - $105,000, based on education and experience.
