Construction Safety Specialist

About the role

Frequent travel (80% - 100% overnight) to various job and office locations throughout the assigned region to conduct on-site safety inspections, employee training, and claim investigations. Overnight out-of-town stays are required.

This position is part of the Operations & Risk Department and reports directly to the Group Safety Manager, involving safety and risk management of multiple office locations and crews in the assigned region.

Requirements

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or 1-3 years of safety experience required
• OSHA 30 or authorized 10/30 hour trainer
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Fall Protection Competent Person certification
• Ability to pass a One Source/FCA background check
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Pay

$85,000 - $105,000, based on education and experience.
