Our client is one of the largest general contractors and self-performing developers in NYC, specializing in affordable and market-rate housing. This role focuses exclusively on ground-up multifamily residential developments across New York City.
About the role
The Construction Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of new ground-up residential developments, managing subcontractor coordination, OAC meetings, reporting to upper management, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and project workflows.
Responsibilities
- Track and report on project costs, timelines, and schedules to ensure alignment across all personnel.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, and project outlooks.
- Confirm accurate completion and processing of project documentation.
- Collaborate with Superintendents, design and preconstruction teams, and key partners to ensure building compliance and completion.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a Project Manager leading ground-up developments in New York City.
- Proven experience managing large ground-up projects (upwards of $30M).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in major construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid).
Pay
Base salary of $165,000 to $200,000, based on experience.
