Construction Project Manager, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

About the role

This role demands that you control the schedule—and recover it when circumstances derail it. You will work on the ground bringing projects to completion. Managing contractors. Maintaining schedules. Resolving sequencing problems before they generate delays. Simultaneously, you will leverage AI and digital systems to minimize manual effort, enhance transparency, and speed up delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction operations, collaborating directly with contractors to confirm work proceeds in proper sequence and meets schedule commitments
• Control and enforce project schedules, monitoring milestones, detecting risks proactively, and initiating corrective measures when delays emerge
• Leverage platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to organize tasks, maintain documentation, and monitor progress throughout active construction sites
• Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing reviewer feedback, and coordinating with stakeholders to advance approvals
• Deploy AI tools to streamline planning, documentation, and decision processes, cutting manual workload and increasing execution velocity

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in construction delivery (field coordination, contractor oversight, or schedule management)
• Experience managing or coordinating a project schedule, including building timelines, monitoring milestones, and maintaining deadlines
• Competency with at least one digital project management platform (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project)
• Practical knowledge of permitting procedures (submissions, reviews, revisions, AHJ coordination)
• Proven application of AI tools to expedite actual work assignments
• Ready to work on-site no less than 3 days per week, with roughly 60% travel throughout the United States depending on project requirements

Pay

$50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
