About the role
This role is designed to remove obstacles in construction and transform it into a reliable, scalable process. You will operate on-site to drive project delivery, manage contractors, maintain schedules, resolve sequencing conflicts, and leverage AI and digital platforms to minimize manual effort, improve transparency, and increase velocity.
Responsibilities
- Manage on-site construction execution, collaborating directly with contractors to ensure tasks are performed in proper order and according to schedule
- Take ownership of project timelines, monitor critical milestones, flag risks proactively, and implement corrective measures when delays emerge
- Leverage platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to coordinate tasks, maintain documentation, and monitor progress across live construction sites
- Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing reviewer feedback, and coordinating with stakeholders to expedite approvals
- Deploy AI-driven tools to streamline planning, documentation, and decision-making, cutting manual workload and boosting project speed
Requirements
- Hands-on construction experience (site coordination, contractor oversight, or schedule management)
- Direct experience managing or coordinating a project schedule, including building timelines, monitoring milestones, and holding deadlines
- Credential in using at least one digital project management platform (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project)
- Practical knowledge of construction trade sequencing and the ability to recount a scenario where sequencing choices affected project timing
- Familiarity with permitting workflows (submissions, reviews, revisions, interactions with authorities having jurisdiction)
- Proven application of AI tools to speed up real work, including a concrete example of the tool, the output it produced, and how you validated accuracy
- Capacity and willingness to be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week, with roughly 60% travel throughout the United States depending on project demand
- Based in the United States and eligible to work without requiring visa sponsorship

Pay

Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
