Commercial Construction Project Manager, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

About the role

This role is designed to remove obstacles in construction and transform it into a reliable, scalable process. You will operate on-site to drive project delivery, manage contractors, maintain schedules, resolve sequencing conflicts, and leverage AI and digital platforms to minimize manual effort, improve transparency, and increase velocity.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction execution, collaborating directly with contractors to ensure tasks are performed in proper order and according to schedule
• Take ownership of project timelines, monitor critical milestones, flag risks proactively, and implement corrective measures when delays emerge
• Leverage platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to coordinate tasks, maintain documentation, and monitor progress across live construction sites
• Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing reviewer feedback, and coordinating with stakeholders to expedite approvals
• Deploy AI-driven tools to streamline planning, documentation, and decision-making, cutting manual workload and boosting project speed

Requirements

• Hands-on construction experience (site coordination, contractor oversight, or schedule management)
• Direct experience managing or coordinating a project schedule, including building timelines, monitoring milestones, and holding deadlines
• Credential in using at least one digital project management platform (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project)
• Practical knowledge of construction trade sequencing and the ability to recount a scenario where sequencing choices affected project timing
• Familiarity with permitting workflows (submissions, reviews, revisions, interactions with authorities having jurisdiction)
• Proven application of AI tools to speed up real work, including a concrete example of the tool, the output it produced, and how you validated accuracy
• Capacity and willingness to be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week, with roughly 60% travel throughout the United States depending on project demand
• Based in the United States and eligible to work without requiring visa sponsorship

Pay

$50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
