About the role
This role demands that you take ownership of the schedule—and repair it when circumstances derail it. You will work directly on-site to deliver builds, manage contractors, hold teams to schedules, resolve sequencing conflicts, and deploy AI and digital systems to cut manual overhead, enhance transparency, and speed execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage on-site construction operations, collaborating directly with contractors to ensure work follows correct sequencing and adheres to timelines
- Take full ownership of project schedules, monitoring milestones, spotting risks in advance, and initiating corrective measures when slippage happens
- Leverage platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to organize tasks, maintain documentation, and track progress across live construction sites
- Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing reviewer feedback, and aligning stakeholders to advance approvals
- Deploy AI-driven tools to streamline planning, documentation, and decision workflows, cutting manual workload and increasing delivery velocity
Requirements
- Hands-on construction execution background (on-site coordination, contractor oversight, or schedule management)
- Track record of owning or coordinating a project schedule, including building timelines, monitoring milestones, and holding teams accountable
- Proficiency in at least one digital project management platform (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project)
- Familiarity with construction trade sequencing
- Experience with permitting workflows (submissions, reviews, revisions, AHJ coordination)
- Practical understanding of AI tools to expedite work tasks
- Availability and capability to be present on-site at least 3 days per week, with approximately 60% travel throughout the United States depending on project demands
- Based in the United States and legally authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
