Responsibilities
- Read and understand contract drawings and project specifications
- Review RFIs, bulletins, and field directives to identify scope changes
- Perform quantity takeoffs based on updated drawings and field conditions
- Develop scopes of work for change orders, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements
- Support change order pricing using labor units, historical data, and field-verified productivity
- Collaborate with field teams to validate installation methods and production rates
- Track and document change events from identification through resolution
- Maintain an up-to-date change order log, including pending, approved, and disputed items
- Prepare clear and organized cost backup for change order submissions
- Affirm support for schedule impacts related to scope changes
- Collaborate with project management and Tri-Venture partners to ensure alignment
- Affirm support for time-and-material (T&M) tracking, including field tickets and installed quantities
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction, contracting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations methods, and industry standards
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar)
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
