About the role

A highly skilled Construction Project Estimator is needed to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project estimating, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects using industry-standard estimating techniques and software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure that all project costs are accurately reflected and communicated.
  • Prepare bid documents and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the value and feasibility of our projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in building codes and regulations to ensure accurate cost estimations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in construction project estimating.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized estimating software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
