Construction Project Manager
What You’ll Do
- Manage construction projects at various stages of execution
- Lead field personnel and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with specifications
- Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders during project planning and execution
- Develop project plans, scopes, schedules, budgets, and material requirements
- Manage project costs, conduct cost analyses, and prepare estimates and proposals for small projects and change orders
- Navigate schedule impacts, changing site conditions, weather delays, and other challenges that arise during construction
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, regulations, industry standards, and Tusco procedures
- Serve as a key liaison between Tusco, our customers, and our partners throughout the life of each project
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, costs, teams, subcontractors, and competing priorities
- Strong leadership and the ability to effectively delegate and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management
- Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Ability to successfully manage multiple active projects at once
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction scheduling/project management software
- Ability and willingness to learn Tusco’s perimeter security products and solutions
- PMP, CCM, DBIA, CQM, ACI, or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable

Qualifications
Experience managing construction projects, Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field, proven experience managing project schedules, budgets, costs, teams, subcontractors, and competing priorities, strong leadership and delegation skills, excellent communication and customer-facing skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction scheduling/project management software, willingness to learn Tusco’s perimeter security products and solutions, PMP, CCM, DBIA, CQM, ACI, or comparable project management certifications are preferred.
