Job Summary

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will coordinate administrative functions for the Construction department, ensuring efficient project management and execution of multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the administrative aspects of multiple concurrent construction projects.
  • Build, maintain, and manage the building permit database, supporting Right of Way permit tracking.
  • Ensure project documents are completed according to company standards and placed in Compass, keeping all documents current.
  • Cook, oversee materials forecasting, procurement, and logistical requirements for new builds.
  • Initiate and process network change notifications and as-built information promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure the relevancy and accuracy of network and system maps by coordinating updates.
  • Produce and maintain timely and accurate documentation, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Read, comprehend, and utilize network system maps and plans.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Midco’s safety program by enforcing safety rules and procedures, wearing appropriate safety apparel (e.g., hard hats, safety vests, OSA-approved boots), and operating all equipment safely.
  • Operate and drive a company vehicle in compliance with all Midco policies and procedures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are conducted as scheduled to uphold a professional image.
  • Model Midco’s mission, vision, values, ethos, and Leadership Success Drivers, and inspire others to do the same.
  • Ensure customer privacy by adhering to Midco’s privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures.
  • Maintain reliable and predictable attendance as required by the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Complete Construction First Time Right (FTR) certification within 60 days of hire and consistently apply principles in all aspects of work.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A DUI conviction within the past five years will result in disqualification from employment in this position.
  • Work with a working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate’s degree or vocational training in a related field.
  • NCTI, SCTE, or other broadband certification, or previous experience in installing and troubleshooting broadband services.
