About the role
The Water Business Line is actively seeking a full-time Construction Project Coordinator for immediate employment in the Pittsburgh office.
Responsibilities
- Project document management of meeting minutes, payment applications, daily reports, materials ticket books, material testing, certified payrolls, deliverables
- Performing additional project administrative procedural requirements to include supporting quality control evaluations of inspector submissions and contractor work
- Familiarity with construction field practices
- Comfortable visiting project sites to discuss quality control and quality assurance issues with inspectors and contractors
- Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility
- Aids in the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility
- Maintain quality control of all installations
- Enforce policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management
- Assist with compliance of safety program that creates a safe and health work environment through the job site and adheres to OSHA safety and record keeping requirements
- Prepare reports, as required, and keep supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
- Monitor work performance and contractors to ensure project plans and schedules are followed
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external record keeping requirements
- Use current construction management system (e-builder) to perform record-keeping tasks including, composing daily diaries, maintaining project logs and retrieving RFIs, submittal logs and agreements
- Interface with client, and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction
- Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, estimating, procurement, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards and that the project is completed on time and within budget
- Continuously expand and update professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
Requirements
- BA/BS or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred
