Construction Operations Manager (Denver)

About the role

The role has responsibility for a team of 70+ people, reports directly to a Regional President, and leads the construction/installation business across the West region (Denver-based).

Responsibilities

• Full ownership across operations, safety & quality, project execution, materials & equipment utilization, team leadership and financial performance.
• Highest visibility role with significant impact as the company continues to scale both organically and through M&A.

Requirements

• Broad-based individual – step above Director of Operations.
• Financial + Operational Discipline is key!
• Strong knowledge of the construction/installation industry including estimating, contracts, materials, equipment, project scheduling and financial analysis required.
• Background in highway construction, civil and/or electrical construction (Horizontal Construction a Must!)
• Knowledge of the ITS and/or Traffic Signal construction/installation industries highly desirable.
• Ability to run a construction team of 70+ people to include project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
• Responsibility of $35M++ operation.
• Data-driven mindset with the strong business and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate finance and public accounting.
• Expertise in representing CFO searches, along with Director Level and above, in any accounting, finance, and procurement departments.
• Networked in the Venture Capital and Private Equity space.
