About the role
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Construction On-Site Representative to join our PMCM Team in Bethlehem, PA or Reading, PA.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the client’s primary on-site representative, providing day-to-day field oversight and coordination of construction activities
- Manage and coordinate daily work of general contractors and owner-retained contractors to maintain progress and schedule alignment
- Maintain and monitor construction quality, safety, and compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Maintain continuous communication with owners, project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues and anticipate risks
- Organize and maintain job sites, field offices, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation
- Prepare clear, detailed daily reports capturing progress, site conditions, staffing, inspections, and photo documentation
- Support punch list execution, corrective work oversight, and project closeout activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of construction site management experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of public and private construction procurement and processes, construction industry laws, regulations, and best practices
- Knowledge of multi-prime contracts required
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with detailed reported experience required
- Prominent ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel to job sites in South-Eastern Pennsylvania as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- 7+ years of construction site management experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Advanced knowledge of construction procurement and processes
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
