Construction Materials Lab Technician

About the role

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Tyler, TX office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log concrete and soil samples
• Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
• Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
• Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
• Enter and understand lab data
• Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

Skills

Ability to work independently, read and interpret documents, and carry out instructions. Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay

Compensation Range: $39,600.00 - $59,400.00
