About the role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner/Coordinator to support project planning, construction logistics, and field operations across multiple industrial construction projects. In this role, you will coordinate tooling and equipment, assist with pre-construction planning, support project scheduling, and ensure smooth communication between project managers, field crews, and procurement teams. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in construction project coordination, logistics management, and jobsite support.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, select, assign, and dispatch the best-available manpower, tooling, and equipment necessary to successfully execute the project.
- Develop specialized knowledge, systems, and support in construction means, methods, tooling, and equipment; Welding and non-destructive examination (NDE) processes and procedures.
- Handle the compliance aspects of safety and quality control for the field construction operations.
- In addition to the primary construction coordination and planning responsibilities, this position will assist with general groundskeeping, help organize and coordinate the tool house, and take on other duties as assigned to support the team and maintain a safe, well-functioning work environment.
- The role requires a high level of collaboration across teams, as well as strong self-management skills and the ability to proactively initiate and complete tasks.
Requirements and Skills
- Interest in construction equipment and practices.
- Proficient in digital word processing and spreadsheet applications (i.e., MS Office or Google Docs and Google Sheets).

- Student or graduate in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or relevant field experience is preferred.
