Responsibilities
- Manage and identify construction risks associated with complex commercial construction loan closings and disbursements.
- Complete a detailed analysis of project budgets.
- Review sufficiency of supporting documentation.
- Determine whether the loan remains in balance.
- Track the project’s progress as to the scheduled delivery and approved budget.
- Ensure the project is completed lien free.
- Identify non-compliance with loan documentation provisions and internal Commercial Real Estate Policy and Procedures.
- Communicate with Construction Loan Project Manager regarding progress and issues.
- Recommend approval for commercial construction loan disbursements.
- Work with different draw formats and forms.
- Correct deficiencies in loan packages.
- Order and review title updates or endorsements.
- Ensure all appropriate lien waivers are collected and reviewed.
- Review inspection reports and escalate issues as necessary.
- Monitor changes in the project budget and contractor payment applications.
- Determine if interest reserve and contingency line items remain adequate.
- Identify early warning signs of fraud or project changes impacting completion.
- Coordinate with internal partners on tax credit, syndicated, and/or participated loans.
- Address participant questions or concerns.
- Process interest payments and complete interest reserve reporting for management.
- Ensure timely payments to outside vendors.
- Support portfolio reporting for management.
- Supply information for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting or equivalent related work experience.
- 3-5+ years administering complex commercial construction loan disbursements preferred.
- Strong customer service skills, an aptitude for numbers and budgets, a general understanding of loan documents and loan terms, and a desire to learn are musts.
- Ability to identify construction risks and present solutions to mitigate risks on all project types.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of internal operation functions and commercial real estate lending.
- Skilled in problem solving and customer service.
- Ability to manage details, approach work in a highly systematic way, and have a high commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Has the ability to learn automated data analysis tools and techniques.
Qualifications

Pay
Total Base Pay Range: $54,400.00 - $111,500.00 USD Annual
