Construction Litigation Attorneys

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, seeks experienced Construction Litigation Attorneys for its Albuquerque office. Ideal candidates are driven team players with excellent litigation, communication, writing, and persuasive speaking skills, a strong academic background, and proven research abilities. This role involves complex litigation, including construction defense and other civil matters, with trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other legal documents
• Review and analyze documents for relevance and privilege
• Prepare for, attend, and summarize depositions
• Coordinate with witnesses and communicate with clients, courts, and other counsel
• Draft and argue motions
• Maintain current knowledge of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP, and other applicable codes and regulations
• Coordinate and communicate with external parties, including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, and firm staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of construction litigation experience
• Licensed to practice law in New Mexico
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with command of the English language
• Self-starter capable of handling assignments with minimal supervision
• Collaborative team player with a strong academic background
